Early Season Grapevine Shoot Mapping

What do we want? Vineyard Maps. When do we want it? Now! How are we going to get it? MyEV

The goal of the new “MyEV Small Farms” project is to further develop and implement the software tools for generating spatial vineyard maps for small to medium size vineyard operations. This season, we will be working with cooperating commercial vineyards in translating vineyard sensor data into viticulture information. The following tutorial video walks through the work flow we will use and includes:

• Creating a block

• Uploading a spatial NDVI file from a data logger

• Cleaning and trimming the raw data

• Interpolating the cleaned data

• Creating validation points and collecting field data

• Translating an NDVI spatial map into a Shoot Count spatial map
